Twenty+ years experience in oil&gas industry, ranging from pre-feasibility and feasibility studies to detailed engineering for mega-projects.
Strong engineering background, developed during all my professional career in engineering both on the Operator and on the Contractor sides.
Thirteen+ years experience as Engineering/Technical manager, managing and coordinating Engineering department and large multi-disciplinary engineering project teams.
Ten+ years experience in LNG, both onshore LNG and Floating LNG, including R&D studies, feasibility activities, basic, FEED and EPC engineering, including EPC contract negotiation, award and risk management.
After graduating in Aerospace engineering I worked for Rolls-Royce aerospace division (Derby, UK) and for GE-Nuovo Pignone (Florence, Italy). In 2004 I obtained a post-graduate Master degree in Engineering and Contracting at MIP (Polytechnic of Milan business school).
I joined the Oil&Gas industry in 2004 as rotating machinery specialist.
I worked for 4 years on Kashagan Project (detailed engineering) as machinery expert engineer and then as Project Engineer.
I started working as Project Engineering Manager in 2009 on several R&D, pre-feasibility, feasibility, basic engineering and FEED phase gas projects, including onshore LNG and offshore FLNG.
I worked for Coral South FLNG Project first as Engineering Manager and then as Technical Manager from 2012 until 2019.
In 2019 I started working as Head of Engineering department Technical Area Manager for Eniprogetti Egypt (Eni Group, Egypt), the Middle East / North Africa engineering hub of Eni. I coordinated all the technical resources and activities of the Company.
In 2021 I joined KPO (Kazakhstan) as Engineering and Technical Authority Manager.
I joined Worley as Project Engineering Manager in 2022 and subsequently McDermott in 2024.
